Contact registered clients about the new property
The person doing the viewings will be familiar with the property and local area
Appointments to be confirmed with the vendor
All applicants accompanied during the viewing
Regular feedback following viewing
Report all offers to the vendor
On receipt of Memorandum of Sale, instruct solicitor and pay for the searches
Submit formal mortgage application with survey fee
Instruct solicitor to prepare draft contract
Return completed all initial forms, fixtures and fittings list etc.
Purchaser's solicitors DPR vendor's solicitors
On receipt of paperwork and fees apply for local searches
Prove contract and raise enquires
Report to purchaser and lender once satisfied with all enquiries
Liaise with all parties to keep transaction moving
Arrange access for all surveys
Liaise with rest of chain, as necessary
Regularly update vendor and purchaser
Agree completion dates
Forward contract and title deeds to purchaser's solicitor
Answer all enquiries from Purchaser's solicitor
Approve contract

Sign formal mortgage offer
Sign and return contract with cleared funds for deposit
Confirm completion date
Authorise solicitor to exchange contracts
